These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PressBuddy mobile application, website, and related doorstep pickup, ironing, and delivery services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About PressBuddy
PressBuddy provides professional garment ironing with scheduled pickup and delivery to participating residential societies and serviceable areas. Service availability, pricing, and time slots are shown in the app and may vary by location.
2. Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law.
- You must provide accurate name, mobile number, and delivery address details.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device and OTP verification secure.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Orders, pickup, and delivery
- Orders are confirmed when accepted in the app after you select pickup time, address, and payment method (where applicable).
- You agree to make garments available at the agreed pickup location and time, and to receive delivery at the address on the order.
- Item counts and categories you declare should be accurate. We may verify count at pickup; adjustments may affect pricing.
- Standard turnaround is as communicated in the app (typically next-day delivery unless express options are offered).
- We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (weather, access restrictions, force majeure, etc.).
4. Garment care and limitations
- We exercise reasonable care in handling and ironing garments. Some fabrics, embellishments, or pre-existing damage may not be suitable for standard ironing; inform us of special instructions in the app where available.
- Please remove valuables from pockets. We are not liable for items left in garments.
- If you believe an item was damaged in our care, notify us promptly via in-app support or support@thepressbuddy.com with order details. Claims are reviewed case by case.
5. Pricing and payments
- Prices, fees, taxes, and applicable discounts are shown before you confirm an order.
- Payments may be collected through trusted third-party payment partners (such as Razorpay) via UPI, cards, or other methods shown in the app.
- Failed or disputed payments may result in order cancellation or suspension of service until resolved.
- Wallet credits, coupons, and promotional offers are subject to their specific terms and expiry rules shown in the app.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- You may cancel an order according to the cancellation rules shown in the app for your order status.
- Refunds, when applicable, are processed to the original payment method or wallet as per our refund policy and payment partner timelines.
- We may cancel orders for operational, safety, or compliance reasons; if payment was collected, eligible refunds will be processed.
7. Communications
By using the Service, you agree to receive transactional communications related to your orders (including push notifications, in-app messages, SMS, and WhatsApp where enabled in your notification settings). Marketing messages, if any, will respect your preferences and applicable law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by providing false information, abusing delivery partners or staff, attempting unauthorized access, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.
9. Intellectual property
The PressBuddy name, logos, app, website content, and materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or exploit them without permission.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection remedies you may have.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
